Hello team, today is Monday May 11th. This week we will be focusing on Emotional Connections and Sales. Emotional Connections and our Sales can go hand in hand. Each day this week we will be looking at tools that can help us improve our sales and how to incorporate emotional connections into every interaction with our guests.
Lets first take a look at what an emotional connection is. (You should hopefully remember if Roxie asked you the pop quiz question two weeks ago.) An emotional connection is when you make a connection with out guest on a personal level. But what does that look like? It's when your guest is getting treated more like a friend and less like a customer. When our guest starts viewing us like family it's a good sign that they have had many emotional connections made with them while visiting with us. We will talk more in detail about this later this week.
Now, lets talk sales. First, lets look at why they are so important. They pay the store's  bills,(all the things we break and lose), they pay for events we have (like the picnic, the store Christmas party) but probably the most important to us......ours sales pay for our paychecks. We strive to have an increase in our sales but to do that we have to work as a team. That means front counter trying to upsell on orders, drive thru getting cars out A.S.A.P, baggers making sure the right food goes out with the right orders, kitchen getting food out A.S.A.P. and keeping the quality up, and leaders upsell on catering orders and make sure everyone is trying their best to do their part. So let's all try our best this week and forward. Also, don't forget to use The Core Four we focused on last week. Have a great shift!
